5 Creative Indoor Garden Ideas

Creative Indoor Garden Ideas

Perhaps your home has a garden and you think you are ready to move on and get an indoors organic garden started. Maybe you are living in an apartment building and you have just considered setting up a small windowsill garden or even a container garden. Whatever the case you will need to keep quite a few things in mind before you can call your efforts a success. If you don’t have a nice community garden nearby, then you will need to consider the options, specifically the more innovative designs for your indoors gardening solutions. Some of the available options will be reachable for purchase online and will be great concepts, but in the end it will be up to you to make your decisions matter in the long run. Let’s get started on the potential solutions:

Using a plant growing fridge

The plant growing fridge is a really useful solution made by the industrial design student Hanna Sandstrom, together in collaboration with Whirlpool and Green Fortune. The concept of the fridge came to mind when she realised people wanted to grow plants and food at home, but they don’t want to have the responsibility of taking care of them. With this special fridge the users can grow their plants but won’t have to worry about irrigation or nutrition for a few days on end as the fridge will take care of the most basic of their gardening needs.

Urbio

What is Urbio? It is essentially a collaboration between various designers meaning to make your interior walls greener and more welcoming. This unique design uses strong magnets attached to eco pots on the main wall or even attached to other pots. The white pots have a quality that makes them look like pebbles, making them seem a natural choice for interior or exterior walls and their prices are fairly affordable.

Making indoors herb gardens

The indoor herb gardens may not quite as impressive as flowers, but they can be practical and interesting at the same time. This is an easy to use and fairly convenient system that helps people make and grow their own food without depending on corporations all that much. It takes time and effort however, so you should not underestimate the importance of proper preparation for indoor gardening. Herb gardens can be made from pots arranged on a wooden table and a water reservoir beneath or above them that feeds the plants for about two weeks at a time, making irrigation and gardening much easier by comparison.

Kitchen Nano Garden

This type of garden was created back in 2010 as a vegetable garden that literally looks after itself for the most part, alerting the owner when the plants need watering and possessing an air purifier to get rid of unpleasant smells. Although an obviously more expensive solution, it still tends to get the job done in a more controlled and useful way during indoor gardening.

Urb Garden

This is a garden created by Xavier Calluaudm, essentially a vertical garden you can place outside your home with its own integral worm farm and a really useful cubby hole type design. It can be purchased, but on the other hand you can still create something similar on your own if you feel the need to.

At the end of the day the choice is up to you, but you will need to be aware of the potential choices.
