Origin: Soloman Islands and South-east Asia

Description: Immensely hardy, adaptable plants. Slender stems produce shiny foliage, striped or marked in green and gold.

Position: No direct sunlight is tolerated. Foliage colors alter, depending on light intensity – variegation brightens with some light, lessens in dim light.

Plants also respond well to humidity.

Stumpy’s Cultivation Tips: Plant several cuttings in one basket or pot of peat based compost. Feed with slow release fertilizers from spring to autumn.

As a climbing and trailing vine, it will require tying and staking. Allow soil to dry out a little between waterings, but mist foliage daily in hot weather.

Problems: Over watering; Mealy bugs and Aphids. Control Mealy bugs with Confidor and Aphids with Pyrethrum. Allow to dry out between waterings.
