Origin: Tropical central and South America.
Description: Hardy, very easy to grow, low maintenance climbing plants which may reach 7 meters with support.
Attractive leaves are dark green, glossy and heart shaped. Flowers are insignificant and rarely seen. Variegated form exist.
Position: This plant needs warmth. It will adapt to different light intensities from dim to bright. An excellent screening plant or room divider.
Stumpy’s Cultivation Tips: Plant stem cuttings in spring in a potting mix of sand, peat and charcoal. It is essential to support them with a stake.
Keep well watered in hot weather, tapering off in winter. Wipe leaves clean occasionally and feed with soluble plant food.
Problems: Root rot. Don't over water!
